The Solar Tree is a public renewable energy installation located in Birrarung Marr

The Solar Tree’s ‘leaves’ capture the sun’s energy to power electronic devices via usb ports, in the outdoors.

This project was commissioned for the Sustainable Living Festival 2018

Winner of the Good Design Award

Wooden seating was sourced from Melbourne grown timbers, tree’s that had been removed from the city of Melbourne.
